Machine-Stiched vs. Hand-Sewin?
When it comes to an effortless and beautiful style, two things are needed to yield that result. Thin lace and a clean unit construction.
But what exactly does "clean construction" mean?
The wig-making process and whether the unit has been made in-house or drop shipped.
3 benefits to having our custom unit constructed on a sewing-machine:
1. Longevity. Your unit is designed to last longer than a traditionally hand-sewn product - wefts + stitching (stitch tensions, width, length, and seams) are all securely manufactured. Ultimately producing a much neater wig.
2. Realism. Although some hand-sewn pieces can yield flat results, machine-constructed pieces are guaranteed to produce noticeably flatter units, without bulky or loose wefts giving you a smooth finish. The sewing machine allows for both sides of the wefts to lay flatter and closer together than hand-sewing would allow. This makes the wig look as natural and realistic as possible.
3. Quality Control. Your custom unit will remain noticeably neater in the months and years to come - guaranteed. Wefts are attached to the cap with multiple stitches, as opposed to that of a hand-sewn piece.
Ultimately, it's all about how the product is made. Thread tension, length, and seam allowance all make a difference. Each piece is made with love and many years of expertise in our in-house atelier. This way, each unit can be made to your preference, our quality standards, and with attention to detail.
